About

Cory D. Farley grew up in Riverton, Utah, and as a young man was very active in his scout troop, earning his Eagle Scout award when he was thirteen years old. He served a full time, two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Curitiba, Brazil. While serving as a missionary, he learned to speak Portuguese fluently and to love both the Brazilian people and Brazil. 


He attended Brigham Young University and received his BS cum laude in Finance. While attending BYU, he met his wife, Jennifer. They were married in Portland Oregon, and are the parents of seven children. After graduating from BYU, Cory attended law school at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and received his JD degree cum laude. 


Since graduating from law school, Cory and his family lived in Arizona and Texas where he runs a small private equity firm and he practices law. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions with a focus on small to medium-sized businesses. He also owns and operates several small to medium-sized businesses. 


Cory is a voracious reader, a gifted athlete, and an avid gun collector. He and his family currently live in Fort Worth, Texas.
